On behalf of Jaybird team I am pleased to announce release of Jaybird 2.1.0
RC1.

Since Jaybird 2.1.0 beta1 following bugs were fixed:

- Issue reported in this group that it is not possible to access databases
with paths that contain accented characters in embedded mode;

- Bug JDBC-58 (SF.net bug #1067485): Data truncation when use
PreparedStatement in CHAR fields

- Changes to the encoding handling framework that should improve memory
usage in the application.

- Added isConnected() property to event manager.

Release can be downloaded from the SF.net download area. Our wiki links will
be updated accordingly in the next few hours.
