Does the latest Jaybird driver work with interbase 6.01. I'm having problems connecting using dbexplorer and eclipse. The connection string I use is:
jdbc:firebirdsql:localhost:C:/data/db/ib/FORMULA.GDB
and I get the following error message
Error while trying to connect to database:
GDS exception 335544583. SQLDA missing or incorrect version, or incorrect number/type of variables.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything I can think of including 127.0.0.1. BTW the odbc configuration works perfectly.
