Dan, did you file a bug report with OO?

I installed Jaybird 1.5.6 for JRE 1.4, although I am using JRE 1.5, and
the database is now accessible!
If I have understood you correctly, you changed Jaybird to be JDBC 3.0
compliant, and that uncovered a bug in the way OpenOffice works. While
you did the correct thing in improving compliance, this makes Jaybird
2.0 unusable with OO. Perhaps one could add a warning to that effect on
the firebirdsql.org site, so that innocent downloaders would know to
take the older version of Jaybird?
Thanks for your help!
Dan.
