No, server does not support batching and last time I brought this issue in
discussion, some of our core engine developers/architects were surprised
that this issue is of any importance. I will bring this issue in Prague, at
least last years discussion about INSERT ... RETURNING ... helped :)

So, batching will be mimicked in FB 2.0, the next good candidate is FB 3.0.
