i´m a newbie at this, so i hope to find some answers here.

First, how to set up an connectionPool?
I´m using Sun´s AS 8 PE, where i´am able to set up an pool.
On the other hand, so far as i know, i can write my own pool?

Sorry, i can´t understand this. Whats the best way to work with an
connectionPool inside an Webapp with Hibernate?

Hope anybody can me explain that schema.
