Dear Members,

We are migrating from mysql to firebird for our
application. Since firebird supports almost all
function of Ansi SQL 92 standards and it matched with
our requirement. Now we are working with performance
tuning . On our intial analysis we feel performance
is lower than the mysql. This remains as a bottle
neck. We tested data insertion rate via Jaybird's JDBC
driver. Since performance tuning involves both
firebird server and jdbc driver. I have mailed this to
you so that you can help me , if you have any tips on
improving performance at JDBC driver level.
