I'm trying to debug a 64 bit Firebird through the Jaybird library on
Solaris. I have no problem starting up and running a Java program
or catching a crash in dbx. Dbx also lets me set breakpoints in the
Firebird libraries, but doesn't seem to retain them when restarting.
Has anyone found any reasonable way to debug 64 bit native libraries
on Solaris? Is there an alternative non-Sun 64 bit JVM on Solaris
(ok, it is like taking coals to Newcastle, but I am in a bind here).
Any other suggestions?
