I've started playing with ofbiz (www.ofbiz.org), and my first thought was to reconfigure it to use Firebird. I see Firebird support included in the entityengine.xml file. Does anyone have any experience with this application: are there any gotchas which I should avoid? Is the new RC3 complete and stable enough to be used for this, or is there a different JDBC driver that I should use? I am a Java novice, although I've been programming (C, C++, assembly) for 30 years.
