The test case is my application. (5MB
jar)
On startup it parses some business-objects that are
used by my application (ca. 90 tables 5-100 columns, 10-5000
rows) .
Nothing special (no blobs), i use lc_ctype WIN1252
and get the connection with DriverManager.getConnection() for Jaybird and with a
datasource for Interclient.
With new Jaybird startup takes ca. 100% longer than
with old version, interclient is ca. 50% faster than the old
version.

Can you post your test case, please?
