Subject Re: [Firebird-Java] OTL: Java IDEs
Author Ruben and Yvonne Baumann
Paul, try the following 2 web sites.

1. jEdit

http://jedit.sourceforge.net/

jedit is an Open Source, Free(under GPL), editor written in Java. Been
around about 5 years, is under active development, has plug-ins that
should meet every need. Excellent editor, and not just for Java.

2. Sun ONE Studio 5 Standard Edition

http://wwws.sun.com/software/sundev/jde/index.html

Sun One Studio is a Net Beans implementation of a full blown,
Java-centric IDE with forms designer, Swing controls, etc., etc., i.e.,
everthing but the kitchen sink. There are 2 versions of Sun ONE, the
Standard Edition which is free, or the J2EE version(Enterprise Edition)
which is not.(this one not only has the kitchen sink, but the
dishwasher as well).
