Hi
release which will be Jaybird 1.5 that I believe will support this
functionality.
If you search the archives for this forum for perhaps the word 'embedded'
you should find posts explaining how to use an 'unofficial' release of
Jaybird with embedded server. This can be used for 'proof of concept' if you
wish.

Subject: [Firebird-Java] Embedded Server and Java
Hi,
I want't to setup a small application. I need a local database. But I don't
want't to install aditional stuff like a database server.
Is it posible to use the embedded firebird server with java? (How?)
Is there a nother way - like the embedded server?
regards.
