Wrong jar buddy. I meant the firebirdsql.jar, and you usually will
create the log/test.log in the same dir that the firebirdsql.jar is in.

Sorry for not clarifying that the first time.

If you do not care about logging. Are you using Tomcat or not? If you
are you will want to place a log4j.properties file in each
WEB-INF/classes dir for each webapp. If you are not using Tomcat, edit
the one inside the firebirdsql.jar file. Or do both. :)

There is also a command line arg to turn logging on which is off by
default.

-DFBLog4j=true for on, or
-DFBLog4j=false for off, the default.
