Great,
Thanks I did not mean to be a pain, but it is effecting some of the
apps I have in production. As I just went through the whole story of why
I was switching to Firebird from IB, and swapping out InterClient for
the native JDBC driver. When some things did not work the same as before
I had further explaining to do.
They are hanging in there so far, but may force me to go back to
InterClient if I can't come up with a resolution.
So it's not a huge deal, but I would rather stick with the Firebird
native JDBC driver instead of InterClient. If I go back to InterClient
then at a later date I will have to convince them again, and migrate
back to the Firebird JDBC driver.
The good thing, is the driver I am using and etc. is not compiled in
the apps, but I still have to make a service call to deal with the
driver. As it's a free service call I hope I will not have to make them.
So I really appreciate you or anyone looking into this matter and
possible coming up with a resolution.
Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
