Today I have commited several performance patches to the CVS.

The enhancements depends on the installation and the test. For some situations like inserts over LAN the test time can be 1/10
of the time before the patches. The performance enhancements are greater in LAN connections, when large records are used or when the
driver is used without logging.

Until now there is a problem in the driver that in some situations makes very difficult to use performance tests because the
results vary too much, now this problem is solved, and I hope it will be easier to test and enhance the driver performance.

Please, all who report performance problems/tests to the list, repeat your performance tests with and updated CVS version, and
post the results to this list.
