No, this transaction stuff is there at least since 4.2 (when I
started to use InterBase). And this one of the things that does not
change to often. I expect it to be the same in IB 7.0, and FB 2.0,
and probably in FB 10.0 unless there's a major breakthrough in
distributed systems research.
