are you really sure you have used both interserver and interclient.jar
provided in the interclient_201 package? i only had this problems when using
different versions. have you tried to telnetting the server on port 3060?
you should see some binay data and the word InterServer.

The exact message I got is this :

javax.servlet.ServletException: [interclient] Installed versions of
InterClient and InterServer use incompatible client/server protocol
versions. See API reference for exception
interbase.interclient.BadInstallationException

I already have interserver installed and it is the same version of
interclient because I get both from the same package.
