Just for my own sanity I typed up some installation instructions for
installing on Red Hat 7.2 x86. While these instructions could
probably use some improvement, they are a start. It would be nice to
include some installation documentation in the CVS archive or at the
Firebird SourceForge website. Anyway, here's the location of what I
put together:

Ideally, it would be nice to have some install instructions for
every platform or, at a minimum, some generic instructions for all
platforms. Also, another like-to-have would be some sample programs.
