Is there anybody out there who ran tests to compare the speed of the
firebirdsql and interclient drivers?

I'm having a huge speed difference 35 Sec vs. 9.5 Min to retrieve a 5MB
blob.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there someone who could confirm this
behavior?
