Having the Jaybird build depend on immediate CVS access to JBos sources
smells a lot like having the Firebird build depend on an existing, running
Firebird server to access the databases which are needed to complete the
build. Also like the need for a message database at build time.

While there is some degree of logic behind those strategies, they seem
overly complicated and none seem like the best way to accomplish the tasks.
Please, let's find another way!
