Hi,
First of all, this group is a "Discussion list for Open Source
development of Java tools for Firebird SQL database", i.e. our
JCA/JDBC driver (Jaybird) and InterClient. For server related
questions (Firebird or InterBase), please use
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IB-Support
1.5 is on alpha stage :) and there is no end-user support for it.
Stable version is Firebird 1.0, and there are plenty of installers
for different platforms including Windows and Linux. If you want to
play with Firebird 1.5 alpha, join the firebird-devel list on
SourceForge and ask all your questions regarding building server
there. But first try IB-Support group.
Best regards,
