It's a wild punt but often in these circumstances it's a dns lookup thing
that is waiting to timeout since the host name dont' exist, but with
windows boxes Im sure it's just the extra delay introduced while it
registers your interest re, upcomming purchase of sqlserver. with
microsoft, that being the way microsoft products work apparently.
