Slightly OT....

A friend has asked me to recommend some software to develope a
database/JSP/EJB/Servlet type system for a custom that has no budget <g> I
have experience with the 'big' app servers etc, but not much of the OS
variety.

I have no hesitation in recommending Firebird as the database, but what JDBC
flavour, and what app server?

My current thinking is...

- Firebird
- Interclient
- JBoss
- Tomcat

But I am more than open to suggestions and experiences.
