My thought as well. Even if it meant boosting the price a little,
doubling the capacity of that chip would have helped :(

The banana pi range is being kitted more for processing power than
'bells and whistles'. But there is still room for a more cut down module
even just as a dumb terminal, but strip the graphics and other
interfaces and add an mSATA socket and extra RAM and one has a nice node
for an array processor?
