From the Preface of "PostgreSQL - Up & Running" (early release):
"If youre developing lightweight applications (...) you might consider single-user databases such as Firebird or SQLite."
It could be worse, though. A couple of paragraphs further down, the author complains that most hosting companies "still gravitate towards the impotent MySQL".
So, here at Firebird, we may have a small one, but at least we're not impotent :-)
