Ditto here.
Been moving a number of MySQL only applications to Firebird and finding
much better performance. On nginx these days which improves things
again, but eacceelerator has not been keeping up and I'm not finding the
'built in' caching of pages is as good. Growing number of sites slowly
moving off old ersions of PHP onto a nice Firebird/nginx/php/linux stack.
