Probably, but the IB 6 Beta source code was open-sourced so everybody may use and republish it.
Just make sure you read and understand the license.

I suppose that the "interbase" module in Firebird's CVS repository started with an import of the IB6 code.
If that is indeed the case, all you have to do is check out the earliest version of that module.
