Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is a .general question or .support - please
let me know if this isn't the appropriate forum.
I am looking at Firebird 1.0.3.
I want the source code, not just the download on Firebirdsql.org
which is "Unsupported, still available:"
Why, you may ask would anyone be interested in a 6 year old release?
Well, it is (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the last
Firebird release in C (and *_not_* C++).
I have gone back to College and am looking at porting Firebird
to Minix3 and I would prefer to work with C, a language
with which I am much more comfortable than C++.
Just as an aside, and strictly OT, I was looking for the
code for FB 1.0.3 and could't find it, so I said I'd look
for the IB 6 code from Borland - where can that be obtained?
It's no longer on their website
Here
http://info.borland.com/devsupport/interbase/opensource/
has links to the code - but the pages give this
451 /pub/interbase/devsupport/open_source/ib_source601.zip:
Permission denied
And mers.com doesn't have it either - Robert Schiek
appears to have moved on...
Anyway, thanks for any help in this matter.
