In July/2008, Dmitry Yemanov (chief of the Firebird Development Team)
was in Brazil to participate in the 5º Firebird Developers Day. He
presented, to a selected number of people, a special 3h Master Class
named “Firebird Performance in Detail“, discussing advanced technical
aspects of Firebird RDBMS that can directly influence in the
performance of the database server.

The Master Class video (screencast) is now available in the form of
