I've installed and used with success Firebird 1.5 on RedHat 9 and 10. Also on some old Brazilian disto's RedHat based. Most recently I've been using CentOS 5 -- So RedHat based linux is just fine.

Next weeks I will do an install on a RedHat Ent. 5
