One thing that I have noticed over the years is that there is no place
for people to go to find applications (as opposed to development
tools) that are powered by Firebird. I have created a new group,
firebird-applications, at

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/firebird-applications/

I intend this to be a place where people who are looking for Firebird
powered applications can post messages describing what they need.
Developers could then respond with a BRIEF description of their
product and a link to their web site.

No unsolicited advertising will be tolerated. I don't want the group
to turn into another source of spam.

I am hoping that this will turn into a way to bring Firebird
developers and potential end users together and perhaps a way for
Firebird developers to combined their talents to provide bigger and
better solutions.
