Hi,
I am new to interbase and firebird so please bare with me :-)...
[ MODERATOR MESSAGE - If this thread turns toward tech support, please move it to the firebird-support list. ]
I am developing an application that extracts data from an Interbase
database (.IB).
I am currently using an old INTERSOLV ODBC driver to connect however
I would like to distribute the application and I'm looking for other
option for easier installation and without the cost of expensive
licenses.
I am using Visual Studio 2003 with VB code.
So, is there an SDK from firebird I can use to connect to my IB
database and can it be implemented in code so an actual ODBC driver
does not have to me manually installed on a target system?
Cheers in advance,
Kevin Preston.
