My naive (and not totatlly serious) approach (*g*) would be to become a
GoldGoldGoldGold FF sponsor to keep their most important project in
respect of competition alive? Firebird is getting better. InterBase
needs too ...

I wonder, if InterBase and its progress is kept alive by a small number
of huge customers or if they are really selling more licenses (even to
small shops) compared to the past.
