Not all project USE sourceforge CVS - it can be flaky at times so some
projects have alternatives - or simply don't use CVS
http://sourceforge.net/projects/adodb/ has a CVS link, but the code is
not managed there (so I could do with telling John to switch it off :) )

Bitweaver has a few people working on Ajax options for some of the
client intensive functions.

Nice to see bitweaver at number 4, and the plan is to get an integrated
WebCalendar package into bitweaver at some point but we need a few more
people playing with the bitcommerce package on Firebird to get that
fully stable. ( An oscommerce/zen cart replacement that ACTUALLY works
on Firebird )
