Hi all!
Firebird is used by the newest version 5.0 of "Magix Fotos auf CD &
DVD", a pretty well-known and wide-spreaded photo show creation program
in Germany and Austria, AFAIK.
At least you will find Firebird 1.5.2 in the following directory:
C:\Programme\MAGIX\Common\Database
and as a service called "Firebird Server - MAGIX Instance". Now I have
to figure out what it is actually used for. ;-)
