FYI: Nickolay has already implemented such a solution here at BroadView,
we will be using it to deploy local 'read-only' copies of databases for
use in a cluster of report servers (users generate a lot of complex
reports from our application).

This will allow almost all reports to run of near-line copies of the
database, and offload the primary application database.
