Hello nagypapi.
I've the same problem, finding a thesis proyect...
I think, distributed database it's not a good subject
for your thesis. Because, borland has a component
named Datahub or something like that. Datahub it's a
component that can conect to multiple batabases
systems and support transactions.
So if you like to desing network protocols for mobile
devices, why not try to design a batabase conection
driver for Firebird.
Well that's an example...
