Me too. The 5.6 server fixed a heap of bugs in 5.5. I never had to move
pieces of 5.5 into 5.6 to make it work.

Unfortunately, the client that shipped with 5.5 and 5.6 was broken for
events - hence those of us out here in the real world replaced it with the
5.1.1 client.
