It obviously works then :)

It's not just you, I have told two or three developer mates about that
slogan and we had a laugh too.

But why are we trying to place buzz words into a slogan, things like
Enterprise will be about as exciting as information superhighway and
ASP before you can blink. To me a slogan should be something that
comes to your head when you think of the product. Very few companies
have achieved it, but those that do generally are in very good market
positions (now).

Think about cola, whenever I go to a restaurant and want one, I ask
for a coke. It may be pepsi, schwepps etc, but I just associate one
with the other.

Other examples, breville, ibm, xerox, windows, even nappysan. What we
want is for people to think Firebird whenever they think database.

One thing I have noticed is that a lot of our "white papers",
"documentation", and "people using our product" are Interbase pages.
Out of those companies and organisations (Motorola, Nokia, MCI,
Northern Telecom, Bear Stearns, The Money Store, The US Army, NASA,
Boeing), have any of them moved their systems to Firebird?

What we need is some more big names on the Firebird Users page.
