"Early in 2004, I completed a research project looking at open source in
Australia, with a particular focus on the attitudes, interests and
motivations of senior IT decision-makers. One of the conclusions was
that the Next Big Thing in the corporate and government world was likely
to be open source databases, with mySQL being an especially prominent
candidate."
