Hi all,

Jokes are nice and powerful guerila marketing tools, as they can spread
the message like bushfire. To start the ball rolling, here is one I made
up this morning:

Oracle and Firebird database admins sits in the pub, chatting about
their work, when the pocket of Oracle admin suddenly starts beeping.
"What's that?" asks Firebird admin.
"Well, that's a new handheld I've recently got from my company!", said
Oracle admins, and draws it from the pocket.
"It's simply wonderful!", he continues. "It's connected to my office via
pub's FireWire network, so I can see what's going on with my Oracle
servers, day and night. See? I can even manage them all right from here!"
"How a lovely gadget!", says Firebird admin. "I would love to have one.
Unfortunately, I never need one to manage my servers."
