IMO, we should totally avoid alliterative word games (like the 4 "F's") or
mnemonics on the word Firebird. Their effect on me (as an English speaker)
is to make me cringe. The word for this sort of thing is "twee". My
concern, for an international community, is that they lose most, if not
all, of their "point" on translation.
Stick with ideas, images, feelings - the wordsmiths in our international
community will soon find apposite translations for them.
FWIW, I've always considered Mike Tossy's line for (old-time) InterBase --
"Embed, deploy, relax" was genius. It said it all for IB, as it was then.
But plagiarism is not a bus for us to ride, even if it still fitted the bill.
Keep them ideas a-coming. One perfect one *will* pop out of the woodwork.
