You've heard about the two best options - IB Expert and Database
Workbench. IB Expert has the longest history of the two and my leader
at work is happy using it. Myself, I first tried Database Workbench
and am extremely happy with that (it doesn't take many minutes to
become an expert). A third colleague tried IB Expert, but found it to
be lacking (at least she didn't find how to do something) in one area
(I don't remember which), then tried doing the same with Database
Workbench which had no problems and have since stuck with Database
Workbench. Whichever you choose you are likely to be happy with the
choice and not change later. Due to the experience of my colleague I
expect IB Expert to have a slightly steeper learning curve, but I've
never tried it myself and cannot tell for certain.
