Ouch! I am pretty darn sure reading a rather passionate articles by
one of the people behind Slashdot on why they chose Postgres. This was
a over a couple of years ago and I might not be remembering right. Or
Slashdot faced with some realities in the meantime.

I did hear that the Postgres site itself uses MySQL.
