Hi !

I use a database that in created windows, but I use it in Linux
(Debian, I got the server not from deb, I get/compile from source).
I need to backup this db, because many records are deleted, and many
metadata changed.

But:
When I try to backup it in Linux, in verbose mode, that the gbak is
stopped the process at a table, and no continue the work. It is not
show any error. The backup file is too short.

When I try to backup this file in Windows that I get an error message
like "message length 243 (240 needed)".

So I stay in this state, and I nothing have to do, because I cannot
use backups in both OSs.

Please help me: what I have to do, what I can do ?
