We have an application that will be released both as a network
application with Firebird, and also as a single user application. In
order for customers to install the single user application, we have
decided that it is simpler to just install a copy of Firebird on their
Windows 2000 or XP computer, running as a service.
We would like to build one installer that does this seamlessly,
without spawning the native Firebird installer to do this. The main
reason for this is to limit what the customer is going to see as all
parts of the application are installed on their computer.
Does anyone have access to either the Installer package that is used
to install Firebird on Windows, or can explain the components that are
installed in detail so that I can build such an installer and make it
part of our overall installer?
All assistance greatly appreciated.
