Thanks for responding. I'm still hoping that perhaps one of the
actual Firebird opensource developers chimes in and responds with a
more conclusive answer.
I get the feeling that FreeBSD and other OS support for FB 1.5 will
get done when someone simply "feels like doing it."
I'm in the position of laying out plans for deploying a application
that will be using Firebird 1.5. As my company already is using and
paying for a couple of FreeBSD boxes at our ISP, we would prefer not
to have to purchase an additional box (Linux, Win) just to run FB
1.5.
