I think that Roman and I were quite clear on mentioning hierarchical data.

What IBM seems to be doing is to enable their database to efficiently store and query/fetch both relational and hierachical data in/with the same database.

For me, not being limited to the relational model looks like a very good thing. That is what I am talking about.
