Is it working now Martijn. It's not something I've been able to test
from here because the firewall gets in the way as well, but locally I
can quite happily select languages and change browser settings without
seeing a problem. Not 100% sure why your initial attempt did NOT default
to English.

I only need English myself, so things like that get killed in production
to save a little load ;)
