We don't know exact definition of "lite" tool. We have the goal to
develop a simple tool, with some features that IB_SQL has (exotic ones
aside). Look at all features that are in current aplha build (0.1.5)...
options are available to click on, but popup a box saying that it isn't
implemented yet. These are as far as we will go (at least until 1.0
version). In short tool will provide:
1. ability to view and modify (almost) every aspect of a Firebird database,
2. runing sql statements.
Once we build that, we will concentrate on Linux-only features, but that
will be some "power" edition of FlameRobin, and it's another story...
If someone from Firebird project can define features that are required
for "lite" admin tool, we would sure make inital versions reach for that
goal.
