but compared to the combination of ibexperts internal logging
combined with the proxy based logging tool ibmonitor, we know
a lot more what happend on the database than IBLogmanager.

ibmonitor also logs select statements, ip and computer name, plans
and execution time for logged statements, I/O Bytes send and
received, connection statistics and much more.

ibmonitor is included in the ibexpert package, a short description
how to use it can be found in ibexpert.com/download area.

so i don´t think that the IBLogmanager
"is more advanced than the data-logging facility in IBExpert"

just my personal point of view ;-)
